Embracing Balance: Ayurveda, Doshas, and Yoga
Saturday 10 May 2025 – 10am to 1pm
This enlightening workshop will guide you through the fundamental principles of Ayurveda and the power of Yoga in restoring harmony to your mind, body and spirit.
Ayurveda is the sister science of Yoga and is known as “the science of life and longevity”. In this workshop you’ll be introduced to this age-old system of health and medicine, originating in India over 5000 years ago.
You’ll gain an understanding of the concept of doshas, the three biological energies that govern your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. Understanding your unique doshic constitution, or Prakriti, is the first step towards achieving optimal health and balance.
In the workshop you’ll learn about identifying imbalances and how to tailor your yoga practice accordingly, whether that’s making subtle changes to your attendance in group yoga classes or refining your home practice.
You’ll also receive an introduction to the three pillars of health – sleep, diet and energy management – which the future workshops will discuss in more detail!
You’ll then be guided through a Yoga practice to embody the experience of practice for each dosha, and balancing this all out with a tri-doshic practice to promote equilibrium within.
Join us to experience how Ayurveda and Yoga can help you to experience overall vitality, mental clarity and emotional wellbeing.
Bookings are essential. Workshops are open to people of all levels of experience, including beginners (no Ayurveda or Yoga experience necessary).
Investment is $99 per workshop ($75 for Mala Members – email us for your special link) and spaces are limited.

Restorative Slumber: Ayurveda and Sleep
Saturday 14 June 2025 – 10am to 1pm
Sleep – one of the most important things for our health yet for a lot of us, we’re not getting enough.
Research is showing that up to 40% of us are not getting adequate sleep, and that only 15% of our population are getting the recommended hours of sleep.
So what to do? That’s what this workshop is going to help you with!
You’ll learn about the Ayurvedic view on sleep (nidra), and why balancing your doshas (the three biological energies that govern your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing) could be as simple as changing what you do around bedtime. You’ll learn about the importance of a sleep routine and simple changes you can make to improve the quality of your sleep.
You’ll learn practices that promote deep, nourishing sleep, enhancing your overall wellbeing and helping to:
◇ Improve your mood
◇ Improve mental function
◇ Restore your immune system
◇ Help with stress reduction
◇ And so much more
After all of this learning, you’ll be guided through a calming Yoga Nidra (Yogic sleep) and gentle asana practice, regulating your nervous system, quietening your mind and nurturing a state of deep peace and rest.

Nourish Your Inner Fire: Ayurveda and Food
Saturday 12 July 2025 – 10am to 1pm
According to Ayurveda, where, when and how you eat is just as important as what you eat. In this workshop, you’ll learn about the Ayurvedic perspective on diet (ahara), digestion, nutrition and mindful eating and discover the Ayurvedic concept of agni.
Agni is the inner fire that helps us to digest our food and life experiences into energy and nourishment. When agni is low, it’s hard to digest food, you might feel heavy or sluggish. If agni is too high, there could be too much heat in your digestion, creating a burning sensation within.
Learn how to enhance the function of agni through simple lifestyle changes and explore practical eating tweaks that align with Ayurvedic principles.
You’ll practice a revitalising agni-inspired yoga practice, designed to stimulate your digestive fire, enhance metabolism, and promote overall balance within your body and mind. Nourish your inner fire and embrace a vibrant, balanced life through the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda and yoga.
Bookings are essential. Workshops are open to people of all levels of experience, including beginners (no Ayurveda or Yoga experience necessary).
Investment is $99 per workshop ($75 for Mala Members – email us for your special link) and spaces are limited.

Mastering Prana: Ayurveda and Energy Management
Saturday 9 August 2025 – 10am to 1pm
There is an invisible but very powerful aspect to our existence. An energy that you can feel and experience but is unable to be seen with the eyes.
You might have heard this unseen force called Chi (in traditional Chinese medicine), Ki or Reiki (in reiki) or Kundalini (in Tantra).
In Ayurveda and Yoga, this energy is called Prana, and in this workshop you’ll gain valuable insights into the subtle aspects of your being and learn how Prana influences your physical, mental, and emotional health.
This workshop will teach you energy management (brahmacharya), exploring practical methods for managing your Prana, such as pranayama (breathwork), meditation and lifestyle adjustments.
You’ll learn about the energy channels that prana flows through (nadis) and how by harmonising your nadis you can optimise your energy flow and restore balance within.
Yoga practice will focus on stimulating and balancing prana, promoting physical strength, mental clarity and emotional stability. You’ll experience the profound impact that yoga and Ayurveda can have on your energy levels and overall vitality.
By the end of this workshop, you’ll be equipped with a deeper understanding of Ayurveda’s approach to energy management and practical tools to harness your Prana.
Bookings are essential. Workshops are open to people of all levels of experience, including beginners (no Ayurveda or Yoga experience necessary).
Investment is $99 per workshop ($75 for Mala Members – email us for your special link) and spaces are limited.
