Welcome to our online yoga studio!
From Monday 18 May, we will continue to live-stream our 6am Morning Yoga Immersion classes to you at home 😊
Please check our Class Menu to see all changes to our schedule.
Online classes will be delivered via Zoom. Please check that you have the most current version of Zoom downloaded on your device.
Please access the class using this link. The meeting ID is 232-640-3984, password is malaonline
Class will be open 15 minutes before the start time – you’ll go into a “Waiting Room” and from here we’ll give you access to the class.
You’ll have access to the class recording for 24 hours after the scheduled class finish time – we’ll send you a link to the recording after class.
Late arrivals will unfortunately not be able to access the live class so make sure you login 5 minutes before we start. If you’d like to do a test run, please call us to set up a time 😊
We will continue to run our online classes as a full service studio, which means that we’ll be there after class to chat and answer any questions. And we’ll still be available on email, phone or text to answer any queries.
What is Zoom?
Zoom is a cloud-based video conferencing service you can use to virtually meet with others – either by video or audio-only or both. You can join via phone or computer.
Does it cost anything to use Zoom?
Definitely not. We pay for all of the technology required to host our classes online.
How do I use Zoom?
Check out this great page on the Zoom website that give you instructions on the many ways you can connect with our online classes.
When you join us at Zoom, you’ll be “Joining a Meeting”. We will email the link/meeting number to you prior to the start of class.
Students can choose to join on many platforms including:
- Android phones
- Apple computers
- Windows computers
- From a web browser by visiting join.zoom.us
What equipment do I need?
You’ll need a device connected to the internet to join via Zoom (see FAQ above on how to use Zoom).
If you have a yoga mat, that’s great! If you don’t that’s not an issue either 😊 We quite often practice on the rug in our lounge room or a towel in the backyard so mats are not imperative to practicing at home.
A blanket or towel is also a great idea to use instead of a block or bolster.
A scarf, tie or belt can be used instead of a yoga strap.
And a scarf, sock or eye mask can be used instead of an eye pillow.
Have other imaginative ideas for props? We’d love to know about them! Email us here.
How much are the online classes?
All class passes and memberships are valid for the online classes. You can see pricing details here.
I'm a member. How do I book my private class? Does this class expire each month?
Please email or call us to book your private yoga class.
Yes private classes expire at the end of the calendar month. As an example, if you do not book your April class, you will be unable to use this in May to receive two classes (you’ll be able to book for one class only).
