Essential Oils

Essential oils are the naturally occurring, volatile aromatic compounds found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants.  If you have ever smelt a a rose in the freshness of an orange, you have experienced the aromatic quality of an essential oil!

In addition to their aromatic qualities, essential oils can also be used topically and internally should the oil be pure enough.  Essential oils can be used in many ways to enhance our health and well-being, support our emotional and mental health and complement our asana and meditation practice.

If you have enjoyed a class at Mala, there is a good chance you have already experienced the beauty of essential oils!  We have chosen dōTERRA essential oils to use at home and at our studio and are continually amazed at the many wonderful ways these oils enhance our life.

We would love the opportunity to share these oils with you and invite you to join our essential oil community.  There are a few paths that you can take to start your essential oil journey:
